I like this device as Dewalt DW960K-2 is cordless drill ably powered by an 18 volt NI Cad battery. I never knew nickel cadmium batteries were packed with enormous power and are a fast recharge are fast recharge however they lack the “charge anytime” capability of the Lithium Ion battery packs.
I am a semi skilled in construction, thanks to my hobby this is a tool that I ever wanted and I am happy I found it at last. This tool comes with a 3/8 inch chuck as standard, however I would recommend that you replace it with a 1/2inch chuck. Dewalt should take note and supply this drill with a 1/2 inch chuck as standard. A tip for shopping this drill is that it comes form most online outlets with two batteries as standard while in most stores it only comes with one battery. So when doing price comparisons remember to check for the batteries. The 2 in the serial signifies 2 batteries.
